Exciting News!

We have some very exciting news to share with everyone!

We could not be more excited! This baby has been wanted for quite some time!

I had my first doctors appointment last week, and we got to see our little one. It was so amazing!

So this ultrasound is at 9 weeks!
Our due date is March 15th.

Pikes Peak

Michael's sister, Ana, turned 16 while they were here. She wanted to go to Pikes Peak for her birthday, so we made the trip up there!

The is the exact spot that we got engaged in almost 4 years ago.

Brian jumping from high places...I chose not to be around while they were doing this...it made me way to nervous.

Family!

The day after we got home from North Carolina, my Aunt and cousins from Washington arrived! My Uncle came a few days later. We had a ton of fun with them!

We decided to go Frisbee golfing one day, while they were here!

Summer Vacation 2013

We left for vacation about a week after we moved into our house. We took a road trip back east to see Michael's family, and so that he could do his Andretti Racing Experience that his Dad bought him a couple years ago. We

We decided to take a different route this time, so we could go through some states that we have never been to. We aren't the best at taking pictures while on our vacations, but we have a few.

On our first day we went through Kansas, Oklahoma, and stopped in Arkansas! Oklahoma was a first for Michael, and Arkansas was a first for both of us! We didn't mean to go all the way to Arkansas in one day, but when we were ready to stop there weren't any places to actually stop.

This is pretty much what Kansas looked like

More Kansas...at least it was green.

A horse on the highway in Oklahoma...there wasn't much else to take pictures of.

I think that this is near Tulsa, OK. It was actually very pretty there.

Day 2: We drove the rest of the way through Arkansas, through Memphis, Tennessee, through Mississippi, and then we stopped in Alabama.

Arkansas...It is a really pretty state to drive through. I really miss being around green!
Arkansas
Tennessee!
Mississippi! This was my first time in Mississippi.

I am missing the Alabama state sign because I was driving and Michael was sleeping.

We stopped in Alabama to see Michael's Aunt Sandi and Uncle Dennis for a couple days. We wished
we could have stayed longer! I also wish that I would have taken more pictures

We spent a day at the lake with Michael's Uncle Dennis, and some of his friends. We had so much fun!

Our last day of driving included going through a little bit of Alabama, Georgia (A first for me!), South Carolina, and then our last stop North Carolina.

The best I could get of a South Carolina sign, and it wasn't even the real state sign.

After a few days of being in North Carolina, we drove back to Atlanta, GA with Michael's Dad. Michael's Andretti Racing experience was there, so we decided to take a few days to explore. When we got to the Atlanta Motor Speedway we had to wait about an hour for Michael's pre-race class to start. Michael's dad and I got to sit in the class with him...it was an air conditioned room, so much better than being outside. The class finished and we had to wait in the room for a while because it started to sprinkle...well it started to rain a lot harder, and they cancelled everyone's driving experience...He has another 2 years to use it. It was kind of a bummer because we pretty much planned our whole vacation around this...oh well.

So we decided to stay in Atlanta for a night. While we were there we went to the Aquarium, and we also did a tour of the Coca Cola factory!

Aquarium!

Coca Cola Factory!

Michael being a goof...as usual. :)

We got to see the bottling process!

After we did the Coca Cola tour...we headed to Savannah for a couple days!

These huge cargo ships came right by our hotel.

We went to the Savannah Museum.

We got to ride this trolley all around Savannah. The drivers told us all about the history of
Savannah. It was really fun!
Right outside of our hotel

We had an amazing few days with Michael's Dad! It was a ton of fun!

We only took 2 days to drive home because we had Michael's brother and sister with us, and we were just ready to be home at that point.

We made is all the way to East St. Louis on our first day, and then we made it home on our second day!
